Farm chicks fun

Well it is over.
Farm chicks 2010.
It was my first, it was amazing
wonderful, exhilarating, exhausting
I took Hutch Studio to the public,
and the public gave their thumbs up.

There was young and hip,
older and wiser.   Cool, funky
farmy, and each and every person
I met was charming and supportive.
Sunday, a lady said, " I was
told to come to the cardboard booth
and check it out."  I have a reputation.
I met so many new
wonderful farm chick sisters.
I loved every moment of it.

Serena is sweet and kind, humble
and appreciative...
Therefore...I think she attracts
people who are kind and generous.
Today they told us 4700 people came
the first day.  I believe it.  My little space
was full all day.   They liked the cardboard,
my art, hutch studio.  Many women told
me, they just liked being in the space.
I never once heard any negative comment.
Ladies and even the guys were just so
happy to be there.

Here are pictures of the booth.
I did not get to leave, because I was a
lone soldier,  other than Saint Anne
who helped me set up and brought me
lunch the first day.  Ladies  it isn't about
the money....it is about being allowed to
live a life that is pure joy...to do what you
love....have it appreciated and the energy
to get up and get to it!

I can't wait for next year.

Krys,
Your booth looks amazing! So glad you had fun..and were successful. Isn't it amazing that success can have so many meanings to us? I wish I could have been there, it's my goal for next year....

You and your booth, works of art. Thank-you so much. Your creativity has inspired me for years and to get to meet you in person was just lovely.

Of all that I missed at Farm Chicks this year, I am perhaps most disappointed not to have seen your 'debut'. Your pictures are lovely, but not as wonderful as your booth was in person, I'm sure.

Your booth was a lovely jaw dropper...I was in awe. I wish I would have had a chance to come back and shop it, but was working another booth. Hope to get to see your art work again in real life. It's lovely. As I am only in Bellingham I'm excited that it's a real possibility!

Krys, your booth was so lovely... a little world of soft snuggles right there in Bay Two! I am so thrilled that I was able to see it - ever so briefly - and to meet you in person. You are such a wonderful addition to the Farm Chicks family, and I am not surprised that you were warmly received by everyone!

Krys,
I am beyond sad that I didn't see you at the show! I was looking forward to meeting you and was so happy you were going to be there. I want a
do-over! I love your pictures of your booth and I can't believe I missed it! I'm so glad you had a great experience, but like Deb, I'm not surprised, that people are as glad to see you as I would have been!
Next year, I will find you before I even set up!
JOY!

I loved meeting you and seeing your booth. It was so amazing and imaginative. My friend and I didn't want to leave. If I'm ever in your neck of the woods I'm definitely hunting down your shop!

Well I was bummed I missed this year's show, but now I am really bummed!! I would have loved to see your lovely space and meet you in person. I've been to the last three shows but this year I couldn't make it. I really hope to be back next year and to see you then! Your space looks just lovely. Audrey and Strauss are so in love with their rabbit (flop) and frog (froggy) blankies. They are a part of our family!

I had such a great time at Farm Chicks. I received so many warm and positive comments. My cardboard booth was really so much fun to create...I didn't know if people would get it...they did. I cried half the way home because I felt validated that my esthetics..art and look seemed to hit a nerve with people. They liked being in my space. From 20-to 80 year olds...all good comments. I can't wait for next year. Serena is just like her name...serene and lovely. Thank-you

I'm so glad you were there! I loved what everybody called, "The Cardboard Booth." It was enchanting! I'm also glad that I now have a face to put with Bunnies by the Bay. I've shopped in your store in La Conner, and my twin girls (who are now 4) wore matching pink bunny onesies when they were newborn. I still have them. :)
