17 and 16

We are now 55 and 54.

Life is so much 

better...now.

I am on the left.

This was around 1972.

She was the cheerleader,

homecoming queen, dating

the football hero, ( whom she

married and still married 34 years later)

I was a waitress, dating a lost soul

and tortured by the world.

We are so different....

But we have been in business

together for 25 years.

We do disagree,

but

love 

wins,

always.

Whether it is your blood

sister or another woman

who comes into your life

 and is like a sister....

love 

prevails.

It amazes me

When we were flying to California

last week, this little girl was carrying

one of our pink bunny buddies.

Her mom said they love 

Bunnies By The Bay!

It was early and she was cranky...

so she ran away while I tried

to take her picture.

When I saw her later she was clutching

poor bunny by his ear and he was dragging

the ground.  Well loved though.

Our buddies where one of the first

items we created when we switched

from making Bunnies to Baby.

BECAUSE....

my sister had her favorite blankie

and she loved the satin edge.

We are only 14 months apart..

as much as she was, (and still is)

mellow and calm...I was the total

drama queen...bossy and had to have

my own way.  Nothings changed.

Here is a peek at the inside workings

of bunnies by the bay. We are going

over design ideas for Spring 2010.

So far it all sounds really great.

It is hard to say goodby to friends.

Michele was the head of our accounting

department. Oh ya michele was our accounting

department. She moved back home to Houston.

I made this for her.

We miss you!

We had a little going away party. The only day

it rained in weeks! (Michele is on far left.)
